Ministry Associate to Worship (Downtown)
Julia joined the staff at Hope Community Church – Downtown in the summer of 2021. She brings with her a passion for worship, community, and connection! Over the past 15+ years she has been singing and leading worship in churches ranging in size from small mobile sites to mega multi campus as a vocalist, keys player, and worship leader. She has a passion for creating opportunities for musicianship & worship leader development on her team.
She currently resides in beautiful Upsala, MN with her husband Isaac who serves as a state representative in the Minnesota State House for District 10 B. Julia splits her time in the cities and up north depending on the legislative season and is very thankful for many good podcast and audiobooks for the long drive.
She loves spending time in the country and continuing to develop connections in the city at Hope! Julia and her husband Isaac enjoy hosting friends and family at their lake home, listening to the loons in the summertime, and grilling fantastic meals. They are excited to welcome their first child in July 2024.
