Emma grew up in Milwaukee, WI and initially came to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities for her undergrad. Emma checked out Hope intermittently throughout college, and after college grew in her excitement about the church, eventually becoming a member in early 2017. Outside of working, Emma passionately enjoys everything food-related from cooking, to baking, to tasting, to going to tried-and-true or new restaurants. Flavors are a big deal to her. She also appreciates going on daily walks, thrifting, pending time with friends and family, and quite frankly, she spends lots of time trying new hobbies but not always sticking to them (see: gardening, yoga, painting, cross stitching… the list goes on and on…).
Emma is married to Davis Johnson, and they are parents to a daughter and a dog.
