I’m Ben, and I’ve been married to Marissa since 2005. We’ve got two daughters: Lydia (age 9) and Greta (age 6). I work as a reporter for the Star Tribune, and we’ve attended Hope since 2012. I currently serve on the leadership team for Men of Hope, play guitar on the worship team and help out on the hospitality team; in the past, I’ve served as a ministry liaison to Hope Academy and co-led a small group. Marissa and I help with Hope’s premarital counseling ministry, and had the pleasure of leading a marriage mentoring pod last year. Our family has been deeply blessed by the spiritual counsel and servant leadership of Hope’s elders; I look forward to joining the team in its work of encouraging the church toward Christ-centered joy, equipping the people of God for ministry and engaging our city with the truth of the Gospel.
