McKenzie Smith
Bookkeeper
McKenzie grew up in the south suburbs of Minnesota before attending college at the University of Minnesota. Her two older sisters had paved the way for her on campus as well as inviting her to church at Hope. McKenzie and her husband, Jake, call Hope their home church and love serving here and leading a small group. Passionate about loving God’s children, she pursued a career in Special Education and taught elementary aged kiddos in the same suburbs she grew up in. After having her own baby girl in Spring of 2022, McKenzie pushed pause on her teaching career to spend more time with her family. An awesome door opened with Hope so now McKenzie gets the best of both worlds spending time with her baby and being Hope’s bookkeeper.
