Christ-Centered Worship

Gospel-Saturated Message

Each week, we open God’s Word to see how the gospel meets real life. Our teaching is centered on Christ—anchored in truth, hope, and the grace that unburdens us.

Genuine Connection

Sundays are when the body of Christ comes together. We reconnect, encourage one another, and remember that following Jesus was never meant to be a solo act. Here, connection isn’t an add-on, it’s part of how we worship.

We love helping kids experience the gospel in fun, age-appropriate ways.

Sunday School

    • 8:30 AM Service: Preschool–5th Grade (Lower level check-in)
    • 10:30 AM Service: Preschool–1st Grade (3rd floor check-in)

Nursery

    • Available during both services (3rd floor check-in)
    • Includes two restless child areas, changing tables, a nursing nook, and a restroom for your convenience

Youth (6th-12th Grade)

    • 8:30 AM Service: meet in Hope West for time in the Word together

FAQs

Sundays are better when you know what to expect. Here’s everything you need to know before you grab a coffee and find your seat.

Where do I park?

You can park in the East Lot (which includes accessible parking) or the 7th Street Lot. Our hospitality team will direct you when you arrive. Many of the meters around our building are free on Sunday, except on Vikings game days. View the parking map.

What about Vikings game days?

Hope East is a few blocks from U.S. Bank Stadium, so on Vikings home game Sundays some lots and street parking near us are closed or restricted. Church happens at the usual times. Our Hope East Lot stays open, and there's overflow parking a block away at North Central University with volunteers to point you there.

Which building do I go to?

We have two buildings, and it’s easy to mix them up (you wouldn’t be the first!). Both services take place in Hope East

Are there rides for college students?

Yes! The Hope Bus drives through the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus every Sunday morning to bring students to and from Hope Community Church – Downtown. We’d love for you to hop on! Check out the Hope Bus Schedule.

How long is the service?

A typical service lasts about 75 minutes and includes worship through song, Scripture reading, a message, and communion. You’re welcome to participate at your own pace, just come as you are. Most people dress casually. After the service, we’d love for you to stick around downstairs for coffee, pastries, and conversation. It’s one of our favorite parts of the morning.

What if I’m new to faith or still figuring it out?

You don’t have to have it all figured out to belong here. Hope is full of ordinary people learning to follow an extraordinary Savior. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or returning after a while, you’ll find space to ask questions, learn, and grow at your own pace.
