Partner Ministries
Loving our City TogetherPartner Ministries are how Hope Downtown joins Jesus in loving and serving our city.
Across Minneapolis and St. Paul, many organizations are already doing faithful work in their neighborhoods. We come alongside these partners to support what God is already doing by showing up with our time, talents, and resources to bless people and communities throughout the Twin Cities.
Throughout the year, Hopesters have opportunities to take part by volunteering, giving, and praying. Whether you serve regularly or step in when you’re able, this is one way we live out the gospel together in everyday life.
Partners
How Hope is actively engaged together
These are organizations Hope regularly partners with through financial support, volunteer opportunities, and shared life together as a church.
Hope Academy
Hope Academy’s mission is to foster hope in God within the inner-city neighborhoods of Minneapolis by providing youth with an outstanding, Christ-centered education. This inter-denominational school seeks to unleash kingdom citizens who work for justice, economic opportunity, racial harmony, hope for the family, and joy in the community.
New Life Family Services
New Life Family Services provides compassionate counseling and support to individuals and families navigating unplanned pregnancies and complex family situations. Their work offers dignity, practical care, and hope in moments that often feel overwhelming.
Source Ministries
Located in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country, Source has an urban art center/co-op, community homes, a transitional home for sex-trafficking victims, and a church-plant. These exist so that followers of Christ can be a friend by providing physical needs, safe environments, advocacy, and a voice of God’s hope, love, and forgiveness.
Supported
How Hope helps sustain meaningful work
These organizations are doing important work in our city and beyond. Hope supports them financially and encourages Hopesters to engage as they feel led.
- Community Emergency Services – Emergency assistance for families facing financial hardship
- Urban Ventures – Youth development and community transformation
- EveryMeal – Providing weekend meals for students facing food insecurity
- Jericho Road – Healthcare and community support for underserved populations
Community Organizations We Recommend
Where Hopesters are encouraged to explore individually
These organizations align with Hope’s heart for loving our city. While we don’t have a formal partnership, we’re glad to highlight their work and encourage Hopesters to explore involvement on their own.
