This class teaches the basics of caring for hurting people, including knowing what you bring to the table, listening, asking good questions, boundaries and practical ways to get involved in the lives of the people God has put in your life.
Renovation groups are about training people to apply the gospel to any issue and any sin. We have those certain struggles that we continue to battle and we want to train you to fight them with the Gospel in the context of community. Renovation Groups are not a magic bullet, but they could be that next step in helping you find freedom.
The first hour of each Renovation Group is spent in a large group learning practical skills for applying the Gospel to your life and your situation.
The second hour of each group is spent in small groups (the group stays consistent throughout the 6 weeks) talking through your own struggles and learning to apply the practical skills from the large group to your personal struggle.
Renovation Groups are a 6-week training to fight sin and help others fight sin.
We offer a two-fold approach to preparing couples for marriage. This is required for couples being married by a Hope pastor and available to all couples at Hope.
We offer counseling with a staff person or trained volunteer. This includes the prepare enrich assessment.
This is a 6 week class that covers topics like God’s view of marriage, creating your new family, communication, conflict, finances, spiritual oneness, sex, and affair-proofing your marriage.
