Davis Johnson

Davis is the Pastor of Discipleship at Hope Community Church Downtown (Minneapolis).

While attending the University of Minnesota, Davis was invited by a friend to ride the infamous “Hope bus” and kept returning as one-by-one the things he thought he knew about Jesus were flipped upside down. After working in investment banking and consulting, he hung up his corporate cleats and joined Hope staff in 2016 while getting his MDiv at Reformed Theological Seminary. Davis is married to Emma and they have a daughter named Hazel Grace. Davis enjoys most forms of competition, compelling stories (written and on-screen), and watching the Green Bay Packers lose — especially in the presence of his Wisconsinite in-laws!
