Ben Johnson
Overseer
Ben found Hope in the fall of 1997 when he was a freshman living in Centennial Hall at the University of Minnesota.
He walked down the block to the outdoor service they were having (with about 40 people). It felt like home and so he stayed. Ben is married to Brooke, who is the Hope Kids Director. They are parents to Courtney, Phil, and Ian. Ben works as a teacher and administrator at Hope Academy in Minneapolis and also teaches some math for the University of Northwestern. In addition to teaching, Ben enjoys reading, coaching basketball and cooking.
