Jesus: All the Fullness of the Deity in Bodily Form

Colossians 1:15-20 15ξThe Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16ξFor in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17ξHe is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18ξAnd he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.19ξFor God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20ξand through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Revelation 21:1-5a

21ŒæThen I saw äóìa new heaven and a new earth,äófor the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2ŒæI saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3ŒæAnd I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, äóìLook! Godäó»s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4ŒæäóÖHe will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more deathäó»Œæor mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.äó

5ŒæHe who was seated on the throne said, äóìI am making everything new!äó Then he said, äóìWrite this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.äó Download Powerpoint
