What’s the difference between the teams?
Morning Hospitality:
As a part of a morning hospitality team your role on Sunday would include one or a couple of the following:
- Greeting new people in the sanctuary
- Directing traffic/helping with parking
- Handing out worship folders
- Helping with offering
- Greeting people at the doors
- Helping people with general questions (like where is the bathroom).
Evening Hospitality:
The evening teams do everything that the morning teams do but they do it as one big team. In addition, they take care of setting up the sanctuary and cleaning everything up at the end of the night.
Treats:
As part of a treats team in the morning you would be responsible for the following:
- Making and setting up Coffee and other drinks
- Setting out platters of food
- Watching the supplies during connection time and adding as necessary
- Cleaning up after connection time
Communion:
Communion team sets up and cleans up communion for the morning services on the first Sunday of the month.
Panera Pick-UP
We are blessed to enjoy yummy Panera treats donations during our connection time on Sunday. This team pikes up those treats Saturday evening and delivers them to Hope on Sunday morning.
How often would I serve?:
Once a month
What time would I need to arrive?
The time varies depending on the team, but typically between 30 and 45minutes before service.
